Chris Ekeigwe
I’m a photographer based between Toronto and Montreal, working across fashion, beauty and commercial photography for brands, agencies and publications. Available worldwide.
A frame is a series of decisions: light, distance, posture, colour, what stays in the frame and what goes. Those decisions are the work. I make them whether the concept begins with me or is already set.
I’m a photographer first. I often step into productions where the creative direction, production and casting are already in place, and concentrate on the image. When a project calls for more, I can build around it, from casting and crew to locations and logistics. Photography first. Production around it.
My work has appeared in L’Officiel Baltic, PhotoVogue and Mob Journal, alongside work for brands, studios and agencies in Canada and abroad.
